We may need to obtain information from other insurers to check the details you have provided. This will take place either when you are taking out your policy or making a claim. We may in turn be required to give information about you to other insurers so they can check the details you have provided to them.
If you make a claim, any information that you provide to the Newcastle Building Society, Legal & General Insurance Ltd, Europ Assistance Holdings Ltd may be put on a register of claims held by a fraud prevention agency. Other insurers will be able to access this information and will use it to identify and prevent fraudulent claims.
You have the right of access to the information held about you by the Newcastle Building Society, Legal & General Insurance Ltd, Europ Assistance Holdings Ltd and any fraud prevention agency that they or we use.
