Building People

Our commitment to your development starts with attendance on our induction course, Building People. 

The workshop is hugely interactive and includes a mix of videos, guest speakers from across Newcastle Building Society, trainer led facilitation and group activities, allowing you to build relationships with other new colleagues and people from across different departments.

Key areas of focus

During the workshop we explore how we operate, our values, how they support our vision and look at why Newcastle Building Society is a great place to work. 

You will also discover why our members are so important to us, how we continue to build upon our strong relationships with them, provide them with excellent customer service, and how we support our communities. 

Continuing your Journey

Whatever your role, your development will continue after this initial 2 day programme, whether it be classroom based technical training for a further 5 days if you are working in the Branch Network or Customer Service Centre, or in department completing on the job training and working with your buddy and manager.
