We’re so proud to have won the ‘Mortgage Product Innovation’ award for Deposit Unlock, and be highly commended for both ‘Community Services’ and ‘Best Self Build Lender’ at the Mortgage Finance Gazette Awards 2022!
We’re committed to supporting our communities and helping customers achieve their dream of home ownership; we understand this can feel out of reach to a large number of customers due to the deposits that can be required.
Last year, we developed an innovative new mortgage scheme, Deposit Unlock, with the Home Builders Federation and Gallagher Re to provide more borrowing options for low-deposit buyers. We were proud to launch the pilot of the scheme within our heartland region alongside Barratt Developments, Bellway, Keepmoat and Vistry Homes in June 2021. Following the success of the trial, we were incredibly proud to be the first UK lender to develop and launch a UK-wide Deposit Unlock mortgage range in September.
Winning this award is a fantastic achievement and recognition for all who supported the launch of Deposit Unlock. We’re incredibly proud of this innovation and believe it will support consumers for years to come – a huge thanks to all involved!
