We're adding new awards to the trophy cabinet after scoring a double win at the 2023 Personal Finance Awards.

Now in its 26th year, the Personal Finance Awards are hosted by the Money Pages, highlighting the best businesses and products in the UK personal finance market, as voted for by UK consumers, with more than 150,000 votes cast across all categories.

We were delighted to take home the award for Best Overall Personal Finance Brand – the most prestigious award of the night – as well as Best Social Media Content.

Karl Elliott, brand and marketing director at Newcastle Building Society, said: “We aim to place our members’ experience at the core of everything we do, ensuring it’s as easy as possible to communicate and engage with us, be that through our growing network of branches, or our digital channels. These awards are recognition for our constant efforts to enhance and improve our customer engagement and are testament to the great work of our marketing team, showcasing their creativity and customer focus.”

In addition to our Personal Finance Awards wins, we also celebrated success at the 2023 Engage Awards this week. The Engage Awards are the UK’s only awards that celebrate achievements across customer and employee engagement, and we were thrilled to win Best Use of Technology in Employee Engagement.
