Important information for funding your Lifetime ISA ahead of the 5th April deadline.
Existing Lifetime ISA
You must ensure any payment made for 2023/2024 tax year is received by the society by 11.59pm on 5th April 2024 (cheque payments must also be received by 5th April 2024). We’d recommend you check with your bank or building society about the timescales it takes to send a payment.
New Lifetime ISA applications
If your application is successful we’ll notify you at the end of your application form. You must fund your account by 11.59pm on 5th April 2024, please remember to check with your bank or building society about the timescales it takes to send a payment.
If your application is not successful as further proof of identity and residency is required, we’ll be unable to open your account in the 2023/2024 tax year. We’ll confirm this at the end of your application.
Should you wish to apply for a Lifetime ISA in the new tax year, you will need to re-apply from 6th April 2024.

Reference: Your Newcastle Building Society Lifetime ISA number, this will be 13 digits starting with 3 letters (i.e. ABC 1234567 XYZ) or your application reference confirmed at the end of your Lifetime ISA online application.
