Another record-breaking win at the 2023 What Mortgage Awards!

Following a 22-week voting campaign, we’re delighted to announce that we have won not one, but three awards at the What Mortgage Awards, including Best Regional Building Society for the seventh consecutive year!

Now in its 30th year, the What Mortgage Awards is the stamp of approval recognising and rewarding the very best businesses in the UK’s mortgage and associated personal finance markets.

We are so proud to have won Best Regional Building Society, Best Large Loans Mortgage Lender and Best Mortgage Lender for First Time Buyers. We were also highly commended in the following categories:

• Best Shared Ownership Mortgage Lender

• Best Fixed Rate Mortgage Lender

• Best Lender Website

• Best Building Society Customer Service

• Best Self Build Mortgage Lender

This is a fantastic achievement and recognition for all the hard work and efforts across the Society.

Michael Conville, Chief Customer Officer, said: “The What Mortgage Awards recognise excellence and innovation throughout the UK’s mortgage market so we’re extremely proud to have been voted as the Best Regional Building Society amongst some tough competition, and for the seventh year running!

I am also equally delighted that we have been voted as Best Large Loans Mortgage Lender and Best Mortgage Lender for First Time Buyers.

These outstanding achievements are thanks to the loyalty of our customers and the dedication of everyone at Newcastle Building Society in delivering on our purpose of helping people to own their own home.”
